Seared Tuna Steak


Ingredients

1.5 lbs Tuna Steak (If you are going to double try and get one large block, not individual steaks)
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Honey
1/4 Cup Wasabi Powder
Sesame Seeds

Method

1) To make the marinate, combine soy sauce, honey, and wasabi. Save a small portion as a dipping sauce for later.
2) Note: If you do double the recipe and get a large piece of tuna, cut a little of on the small side so you have piece that is a little more square (for even cooking)
3) Marinate the Tuna for at least 1 hour, turning once so all sides are covered.
4) After you take the tuna out of the marinate, cover it in sesame seeds.
5) Cook this on a charcoal grill. You want the grill to be extremely hot to activate the oils in the seeds.
6) Place the Tuna on the grill for about 3 minutes a side. Be careful flipping.
7) After you are done with the grill, bring the Tuna inside and cover it for about 5 minutes, to let it cook in a little more.
8) Serve with reserved marninate. Serve to greedy children (Serves 4)

NOTE: If there are leftovers, the tuna is great on a salad the next day.
