Grandma's Banana Bread


Ingredients

2 Very ripe bananas
1/2 Cup butter
1 1/2 Cups all-purpose flour
3/4 Cup sugar
2 Eggs
1/4 Cup milk
2 tsp. lemon juice or vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup walnuts/raisins/pecans (optional)

Method

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2) Cut Bananas into one inch pieces, cut butter into six pieces
3) Add bananas and butter into food processor, process until finely chopped (about 30 seconds)
4) Add remaining ingredients, process 15 seconds
5) Add nuts if desired, process 2-3 seconds
6) Do not over process as this will make the bread coarse
7) Place into greased 9x5 inch pan
8) Bake until bread springs back when touched lightly in center, about 55-60 min.
9) Cool before removing
10) Note: Put all dry ingredients in a bowl. Add lemon juice to milk, then add eggs. (easier to process)
11) Serve to greedy children.
