Baked Ziti
Ingredients
6 Cups (16 ounces) Ziti uncooked
Method
1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees
5 Cups (32 ounce jar) spaghetti sauce
2 Cups (16 ounces) ricotta cheese
2 Cups (8 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 Egg, slightly beaten
1 Tsp. oregano
1/2 Tsp. garlic powder
1/4 Tsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
2) Cook Ziti for 10 minutes, drain.
3) In large bowl, combine cooked ziti, 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce. ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parsley, egg, oregano, garlic powder, and pepper
4) In 3-quart casserole pour 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce
5) Spread Ziti mixture evenly over sauce
6) Top with remaining 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesean cheese
7) Bake, covered at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until hot and bubbly
8) Serves 8
9) Serve to greedy children
